Ethics and Responsibilities

Published by

These are the ethics and practices that we at FlexoNetwork aspire to, as we expect all new Principal members subscribe to them as well.

By following this code, we strive to create professional, effective business partnerships that serve the market in the most cost-effective  and ethical manner.

I. FlexoNetwork’s Responsibilities to the Manufacturer/Principal:

  • To comply with the Principal’s terms and conditions of sale.
  • To conscientiously cover the assigned territory, accounts or industry segment.
  • To avoid any form of misrepresentation.
  • To establish relationships only with those Principals which will be best represented by FlexoNetwork.
  • To refrain from representing competing lines without written agreement of the Principal.
  • To constantly strive to add value to the relationship between the Principal and the Customers.
  • To refuse to continue representation of any manufacturer found to have compromised integrity.

II. The Manufacturer’s/Principal’s Responsibilities to FlexoNetwork:

  • To constantly strive to support FlexoNetwork’s efforts by timely responses and open communication.
  • To enter into a fair, clearly worded, written Sales Representative Agreement which addresses the needs, concerns, expectations and objectives of both parties.
  • To refrain from modifying the terms of this agreement, except by mutual written consent following full discussion of the matter.
  • To address Customer problems and questions promptly and accurately.
  • To not hold FlexoNetwork’s financially accountable/adjustable due to lost profits from:

a.)     Defects in Manufacturing.

b.)     Miscalculations in principal’s quoted sales price vs. actual costs.

c.)     Returned product that has failed to perform as presented by manufacturer.

III. FlexoNetwork’s Responsibilities to the Customer:

  • To promote only those products or services which are in the Customer’s best interest.
  • To constantly strive to improve the relationship between the Principal and the Customer.
  • To clearly and fairly communicate the needs of all parties in the business relationship.
  • To process Customer issues and questions promptly and accurately.

VI. FlexoNetwork’s Responsibilities to Another Sales Agency:

  • To share ideas beneficial to the advancement of Manufacturers Representatives.
  • To respect existing Principal relationships of other Sales Agencies.
  • To refrain from using unfair methods to soliciting Customers away from an incumbent competitor.
  • To cooperate in an effort to enhance manufacturing capabilities and profitability of mutual customers.
