Uteco Converting S.p.a. has become a leading manufacturer and supplier of equipment in the field of flexible packaging. They have installed more than 2200 machines and complete manufacturing lines worldwide since1985 and have grown to become the largest Italian manufacturer of flexographic printing presses.

The manufacturing facility covers an area of 715,000 sq. ft. with 227,770 sq. ft. designated to manufacturing, machining and assembly. They have dedicated and designed a specialized 8,800 sq. ft. facility within the location for Converdrome Printing Technology Center.

The Printing Technology Center is state of the art with absolutely no expense spared. It is sure to satisfy and surpass any needs or requirements  during machine trials, tests, and final acceptance of orders. The Printing Technology Department organizes test-runs of printing presses and prepares them according to specifications received directly from questionnaires and continued communication with customers.  Before the customer’s arrival for machine trials and testing, the machine and ancillary equipment are checked for absolute functionality and performance of all parts. This is also an opportune time to test and examine new solutions with the purpose of improving the product and its ability to perform flawlessly. Complete start-up at the customer’s plant is provided with thorough operator training, printing training, etc.  There is a tight collaboration with the R&D Department to develop new machine technologies, like P2P® – IDP and other new products such as
washing systems, doctor chambers, etc…

Present in North America since 1991 with sales and service support, Uteco commited to Uteco North America in October 2000 with a brand new 10,000 sq. ft. facility located in Atlanta, GA  to offer full time technological support, a fully stocked spare parts warehouse, and a demonstration area for the support of the entire North American Market.

Uteco North America continues to grow with great success in the North American market due to the diverse offerings of equipment to the flexible packaging industry.
